Privacy Policy

Before App Store submission: make sure the contact email works and update this page if the app's actual data collection, AI provider, analytics, purchase, or community features change.

1. Overview

Magic Mirror ("we", "us", or "our") provides outfit, wardrobe, image-based styling, and related app features. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account information: if you create an account, we may process identifiers such as your account ID, email address, display name, login provider, and authentication records.
  • Photos and user content: when you choose to upload images, wardrobe items, outfit photos, prompts, comments, reports, or other content, we process that content to provide app features.
  • AI request data: if you use AI-assisted features, your selected images, text prompts, generated results, and related request metadata may be processed to complete the request.
  • Purchase information: if Pro or subscription features are enabled, we may receive entitlement, transaction, product, and subscription status information from Apple App Store and/or RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment card number.
  • Device and diagnostic data: we may process device type, operating system version, app version, error logs, crash information, and basic usage events to maintain and improve the service.
  • Approximate or precise location: only if a feature requests it and you grant permission. You can disable location access in your device settings.

3. How We Use Data

  • Provide wardrobe, outfit, image processing, AI styling, account, and community features.
  • Store your saved items, preferences, generated results, and app settings.
  • Process payments, subscriptions, refunds, and entitlement checks when paid features are enabled.
  • Detect abuse, handle reports, moderate user-generated content, and protect users.
  • Debug, secure, maintain, and improve the app.
  • Respond to support requests and account deletion requests.

4. AI Processing and Third-Party Providers

Some features may rely on third-party AI, cloud storage, authentication, payment, hosting, or analytics providers. When you use those features, the data needed to complete the request may be sent to our backend and selected service providers.

We do not sell your personal information. We require service providers to process data only for service delivery, security, support, and legally permitted purposes.

5. App Permissions

  • Camera: used only when you choose to take photos inside the app.
  • Photo Library: used only when you choose to import or save images.
  • Location: used only when a feature requires location context and you grant permission.
  • Notifications: used only if notification features are enabled and you grant permission.

You can change permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

iOS digital features, subscriptions, and Pro entitlements are processed through Apple In-App Purchase when enabled. Apple handles payment details. We may process purchase status and entitlement records to unlock paid features.

7. Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain security. You may request deletion as described below.

8. Your Choices and Deletion

You may access, update, export, or delete certain information through the app when supported. You can also request deletion by following the instructions on the Delete Account page.

After deletion, some records may be retained for a limited period when required for security, fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

9. Children

Magic Mirror is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.

10. International Processing

The current service is intended for regions outside mainland China unless a separate mainland China compliant service is launched. Your data may be processed in countries or regions where our infrastructure and providers operate.
